I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. In fact, she has so much good to say that I ordered one for myself. She loves the fact that she can take notes or make comments without obscuring the original text. She says it feels good in her hands and the paper isn't so thin that ink bleeds through. Awesome value!
Just what I was looking for. A valuable lesson I learned in Alcoholics Anonymous in the way of the "Big Book"; Write in your book! The thoughts you have and Truths that are revealed to you while reading are just as important, if not much more important, than the text itself. Not writing down your inner Truth while on your journey couldn't be a more profound mistake.This particular Bible has margins. It's perfect for notes. It also looks cool.There are two versions, one with larger print - if you don't have the best eyesight. This one is the standard size print which is small but okay for me. I have no trouble reading it. The larger print version is a thicker bible. I didn't want to go thicker, but I presume some some may have to.
I love this bible because there's just enough journaling space on the side. Some that I have seen look really busy and distracting with their journaling lines on the side, but this one is completely what you make of it. Would absolutely recommend for someone who's looking for a bible to make small notes and reminders in.
I love this Bible! I have both the NIV and the NKJV. I like the NKJV because it is possible to get larger print. I love the NIV translation. This is a high quality Bible. You won't have ton worry about the spine breaking or accidentally tearing pages. The pages are only mildly translucent, much better than most Bibles. The pages are silly and cut well. I use it with watercolors and liquid pens and it works very well! I only wish I could find a larger text version.
Absolutely love my Bible!!! I'm so glad I purchased it!! Only con it does not have the red letters. But I love the space and the sturdy cover. Pages are not thin but not see through thin. Love the space for notes!!!

Love, love, love this! The Bible is beautiful and I enjoy that the flowers are textured into the faux leather, giving it a nice feel. There is ample space inside for note taking, both in the lined margins and at tips and bottoms of pages. Some slight cons- The place holder ribbon is a lovely blue, but it clashes with the outer cover. Also, the paper is a pale yellow, not white. This might be an issue if you're purchasing the Bible to color in, or if you have a hard time reading with lower contrast. However, for me this worked fine. This has become my main bible, and I have so enjoyed reading it while taking notes, and bringing it with me to church to take notes directly from the sermon. I hope to give this bible, with my notes, to my kids one day.
Absolutely loving my NIV Journal The Word Bible!! I've had it for a couple months now and it's the best Bible I've ever owned! Great for highlighting, note taking, and journaling!
